I’m a big fan of Ludivico Einaudi - he’s Italian and plays a mean piano. So while listening to ‘Bella Notte’ on the plane over Christmas I thought it might be fun to do a slideshow celebrating the whole year. It’s been a busy and a fun one for us. I’d personally like to thank my wife Caroline who puts up with my long hours and continuous travels. Caro and I would also like to wish all of our clients and friends a Happy New Year. To watch the slideshow below, let the progress bar load completely to the right and then press play.

Last weekend Julie and Mark wed in Ballyholme Methodist Church on a crisp clear December day. They finished the day at Clandeboye Courtyard near Bangor, a grand place to photograph in. This was my last wedding for 2008 and I’ll be posting a recap of an amazing year in a few weeks.
I have to say that this was a really emotional wedding to finish the year on. Julie’s Father passed away five years ago and so her brother Richard gave her away at the church. You could see the emotion everywhere - from the nervous energy in the house to the happy celebrations later in the day.
The two flowergirls were great fun and I got to meet another Dylan, who was just as cool as Bob Dylan himself. The weather was perfect and the reception at Clandeboye Courtyard was stunning - a grand place to photograph in - our thanks go to Karen Kane and all of Julie and Mark’s friends and family.
Julie and Mark are currently out in Dubai and the Maldives - hi guys (if you can find an internet terminal) - hope the honeymoon is going well and see you when you get back!!

Covering a wedding is the greatest thing. Fortunately I get to listen to some great speeches and last week was no exception - of all the great words spoken at Rebecca and Chris’s wedding, Caroline and I were really touched when Chris’s childhood friend and long time neighbour spoke of how, when he was younger, Chris used to go past his Granda’s house almost every day and shout in “Hello Granda” and his Granda would shout back “Hello Chris”. Â And that what they were really saying to each other was “Love ya Granda”, “Love ya son”.
I just loved hearing that - anyway, thanks to Rebecca and Chris, friends and family for a great day. Here are some photographs from the wedding reception up at Rosspark, Kells.

The Apple iphone has changed how I manage my contacts, diary and general work life. It’s an absolutely fantastic little device. It seems to work pretty much everywhere. Of course, the camera on it isn’t much cop but hey I’m not worrying about that with the amount of cameras I have.
But you know the best thing about it - it has to be the ‘robot’ ringtone. I like to imagine it’s one of those creatures from the Mos Eisley space bar from the Star Wars film.
It cracks me up everytime someone calls.
Anyway, here it is in all it’s shortform glory - so go ahead - give me a ring and make me laugh!!Â
